Delete your Telegram account

1. Open Telegram’s official account management and deletion page in a browser.
2. Enter your phone number in international format.
3. Enter the confirmation code Telegram sends to an existing Telegram session. Telegram normally sends this code inside Telegram, not by SMS.
4. Choose the account-deletion option, read the warning, and confirm only if you understand that the action is irreversible.

Telegram describes the consequences and retention rules in its Privacy Policy. Questions about Telegram cloud data must be directed to Telegram.

Remove local ArcGram data without deleting the account

You can remove data stored on one Android device while keeping the Telegram account:

1. In ArcGram, clear cache or selected local media under Settings → Data and Storage → Storage Usage.
2. Log out of ArcGram to remove the active session from that installation. Review other sessions under Settings → Devices.
3. Use Android Settings → Apps → ArcGram → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall ArcGram, to remove the app’s local private storage from that device.
4. Delete files you separately exported or saved to shared device folders if you no longer want them.

Android or third-party backup services may retain backups under their own settings and retention policies.

Delete specific Telegram data

• Delete individual messages or chats using ArcGram’s delete controls, selecting deletion for other participants where Telegram offers that choice.
• Stop contact syncing and delete previously synced contacts under Telegram/ArcGram privacy and data settings.
• Stop active Live Location shares from the relevant chat or location-sharing panel.
• Revoke sessions you no longer use under Settings → Devices.

ArcGram support and website records

ArcGram does not maintain a separate ArcGram account database. If you previously contacted ArcGram support and want corresponding ArcGram-controlled support records deleted, email [email protected] from the same address used for the request. Describe what you want removed without sending passwords, Telegram login codes, or unnecessary chat content.

Verified requests concerning ArcGram-controlled records will normally be addressed within 30 days, unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or applicable law.
