Privacy Policy
This policy explains how data is handled when you use the ArcGram Android app or this website.
1. Who is responsible
ArcGram is developed and maintained by Akhror Kutbidinov (“ArcGram,” “we,” “us”). Questions about ArcGram-controlled processing may be sent to [email protected].
ArcGram is a client for Telegram’s service. Telegram Messenger Inc. independently controls the Telegram account system, messaging network, cloud storage, and related service data. Telegram’s handling of that data is governed by the Telegram Privacy Policy.
2. Data involved when you use ArcGram
Telegram account and communications
To sign in, ArcGram sends the phone number and authentication information you provide to Telegram through the Telegram API. Your profile, cloud chats, messages, media, contacts, groups, channels, calls, and other Telegram-service information are transmitted to or retrieved from Telegram as necessary to provide the features you request.
ArcGram does not operate a separate messaging backend or a separate ArcGram account database. Deleting ArcGram from a device does not by itself delete your Telegram account or Telegram cloud data.
Device and app information
The app and its service providers may process technical information needed for operation and security, such as app version, operating-system version, device model, language, IP address, network state, push-notification token, and limited diagnostic information. Application logs are primarily stored locally and may contain technical events. Only share logs with support after reviewing them for personal information.
Information you choose to access or share
- Contacts: if permission is granted, names and phone numbers may be read for contact discovery and syncing with Telegram. Telegram provides controls to stop syncing and delete synced contacts.
- Photos, video, audio, and files: accessed when you select, send, save, or manage media and documents.
- Location: precise or approximate location is accessed only for location-related features you initiate. Live Location may continue while ArcGram is in the background until you stop it or its selected duration expires.
- Microphone and camera: accessed for voice messages, calls, video calls, scanning, or media capture you initiate.
- Phone state and phone number: may be used to support sign-in, network behavior, and call handling. ArcGram’s Google Play build does not request access to your call log.
- Notifications and nearby/Bluetooth devices: used for message and call alerts and compatible audio-device routing.
- Clipboard: content is handled when you paste, copy, or invoke a feature that explicitly uses clipboard content, subject to Android platform controls.
You can deny or revoke Android permissions in system settings. A feature may be unavailable if its required permission is denied.
3. Google and Firebase services
The Google Play build can use Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications and Firebase Remote Config for operational configuration. These services may process an app-instance identifier, push token, IP address, device/app metadata, and delivery or diagnostic events. Google processes this information under its own terms and privacy documentation, including Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.
ArcGram does not use the website to set advertising cookies or run behavioral advertising. The website does not include analytics scripts.
4. Website data
When you visit this website, the hosting infrastructure may temporarily log standard request information such as IP address, request time, requested path, response status, browser user agent, and referrer. This is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site. The site does not require an account and does not intentionally set tracking cookies.
5. How information is used
Information is processed only as needed to:
- authenticate with and provide the Telegram service through ArcGram;
- deliver messages, media, calls, notifications, contact discovery, and user-requested features;
- maintain app security, reliability, compatibility, and abuse prevention;
- answer support requests and investigate reported defects; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
ArcGram does not sell personal data and does not use personal data for personalized advertising.
6. Sharing and service providers
Data may be sent to Telegram when required for Telegram functionality, to Google/Firebase for enabled push and configuration services, to operating-system or device providers for platform features, and to a payment provider when you deliberately make an eligible purchase. We may also disclose limited information when legally required or necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.
Bots, mini apps, websites, payment providers, and people you communicate with are independent recipients. Review their policies before sharing information with them.
7. Storage and retention
- Local app data remains on your device until removed through ArcGram settings, Android storage settings, logout, or uninstall, subject to Android backups and exported files.
- Telegram cloud data is retained by Telegram according to Telegram’s policy and your Telegram settings.
- Push and configuration data is retained by Google/Firebase according to the applicable service rules and operational need.
- Website security logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for operations, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
- Support correspondence may be retained while a request is active and afterward when reasonably necessary for continuity, security, or legal obligations.
8. Your choices and deletion
You can manage permissions through Android settings; manage contact syncing, sessions, privacy options, local storage, and cache through ArcGram; and delete messages or other Telegram data using the available Telegram controls.
For complete account-deletion instructions, visit the ArcGram account-deletion page. Requests concerning ArcGram-controlled support or website records may be sent to [email protected]. Requests concerning Telegram cloud data must be exercised through Telegram.
9. Security
ArcGram uses platform security controls and encrypted network connections where supported. No system is completely secure. Protect your device, SIM, Telegram two-step verification credentials, and active sessions. Never send authentication codes or passwords to ArcGram support.
10. International processing
Telegram, Google, hosting providers, and communication partners may process information in countries other than your own. Their respective privacy policies describe their processing and safeguards.
11. Children
ArcGram is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly operate a separate service for children. Users must satisfy the age and eligibility requirements applicable to Telegram and their jurisdiction.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when ArcGram, its dependencies, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel when required.
